Sally Wernicoff

After a career as a chef/owner of restaurants, Key West resident Sally Wernicoff began studying sculpture in the early 1990s. Her figures in clay, stone and plaster are in many private collections in Key West and abroad. She considers it a privilege to reveal the essential, unseen beauty in the form. She writes, “Something alive and intuitively right springs from the ill-formed mass of the medium.”
