Norm Magnusson

For the past two years Norm Magnusson has been planning and executing the world’s longest art installation: the I-75 Project. Instead of information about a historical event or famous person, Magnusson uses faux historic signs to highlight a contemporary social or political issue. His project has been featured in The New York Times, Sculpture Magazine, Modern Painters, in a documentary by PBS and many other publications. Although not exactly on I-75, his installation in Key West is especially relevant to the statement on the sign.

Magnusson receives support from the U.S. Department of Transportation and from local arts organizations across the country. His works are in many private collections and he has received numerous grants and awards. He lives in Lake Hill, NY.
