Diana Shpungin’s current body of video, performance
and multimedia work explores dualities that exist in our everyday
lives. She asks, “How can two completely opposite ideas
exist together in harmony?” Inner struggles of this
dichotomy are examined through an ongoing series of experiments
and installations. Shpungin has been exhibited and reviewed
extensively both in the United States and abroad. She divides
her time between her homes in Brooklyn, NY and Delray, Florida,
where she is an Adjunct Professor at Florida Atlantic University
in Boca Raton.
