Using wire cloth as an expressive medium, Chris Scala is
able to create volumes and forms that the observer is able
to see through, inside and around. In this kinetic sculpture,
the wind turns a gold-covered copper octahedron inside the
sculpture, making evident the effects of natural forces. Scala
has received several awards for his work and lives in Orlando,
Florida.
