Blane De St. Croix's carefully constructed objects haunt
us with an alternative perspective on modern life and our
precarious interface with the natural world (as Daphne Anderson
Deeds points out in his exhibition catalog). De St Croix has
won numerous residencies and awards and was most recently
named a 2007-08 Fulbright Scholar. He divides his time between
Brooklyn, NY and Delray, Florida, where he is an Associate
Professor at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton.
