Key West artist Tom Joris describes his art career as “an odyssey.” Early art training and a variety of art-related jobs led him finally to attend the Art Institute of Chicago where he taught after receiving his degree. He writes, “My teaching years were rewarding; inspiring individuals to see things in a different way gave me great joy.”
