Helen Harrison began developing her woodworking skills when
she and her husband built the 38-foot sailboat in Costa Rica
that was their home for 11 years. Finally settling in Key
West, they opened Harrison Gallery, which is celebrating its
20th anniversary. She writes, “Using materials from
three distinctive Florida trees, I have created a new form.
I find that the relationship between these elements of nature
reflects tranquility.”
