Elizabeth Scofield & Jason S. Brown

The collaborative team of Brown and Scofield began in 1999 when they received their MFAs from Rhode Island School of Design. Since then, they have developed a body of work based on the concept of “survival design” which references technology based on recreational, industrial and safety equipment through nomadic sculptural forms and lightweight tensile architecture. Brown and Scofield teach Sculpture at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
