Eliza Proctor’s professional career includes many
solo sculpture exhibitions in the United States, Turkey
and Italy as well as participation in prestigious sculpture
parks and project spaces. She writes, “My proposal
is to create a simple gesture of bridging interior with
exterior, natural environment with the man-made, past with
future, fragility with strength.” This piece was built
into the cisterns of the historic fort, connecting the outside
space with the inside. She currently lives in Brooklyn,
NY.
