Key West artist Anja Marias’ work deals with themes
of fragmented childhood memories. She writes, “This
piece represents an existing child in each of us; a suppressed
part that is not in working order”. “Marias’
work is a collection of found objects she manipulates into
haunting images to voice allegory for the eternal continuous
cycle of the human, nature and the spiritual world.”—The
Key West Citizen.
