Joe Hobbs turned to glass as a medium in 1994 at California
College of Arts and Crafts. He is well known for his glass
hand vessels, which reflect his Cherokee heritage. He has
worked in many “hot shops” around the country
and currently teaches at the Belmont Arts & Cultural
Center in Pensacola, FL, where he lives.
