Robert Hickman received his MFA in sculpture from Hunter College in New York. He has exhibited extensively in New York in solo and group shows and is a frequent contributor to the SculptureCenter. His recent commission at the Capital Community College in Hartford, CT was reviewed in Sculpture Magazine. His singing lighthouse plays Donna Fargo’s 1974 hit song “You Can’t Be a Beacon if Your Light Don’t Shine”. He lives in Brooklyn, NY.
