Jorge Arango specializes in large-scale monuments and public
installations and works in a wide variety of materials.
He studied all over the world and taught sculpture in Havana
until 1994. He writes, “Integrating sculpture in the
environment is not the artistic purpose, it is a consequence.
Sculpture is not an object: it is the link between space
