Key West artist Sally Wernicoff has been sculpting figures out of clay, stone and plaster since 1992. She is in many private collections in Key West, and up the East Coast. She considers it a privilege to reveal the essential, but unseen beauty in the form. She writes, “Something alive and intuitively right springs laboriously from the ill-formed mass of the medium.”
