Since retiring from teaching art in the Monroe County School
System, Jacquelyn Sanchez has been exploring welding techniques
to create indoor and outdoor sculpture. She writes, “My
style is almost entirely non-objective and is a result of
an inner vision and the pleasure of working with the various
techniques of forming and constructing the resistant steel
into art.”
