Israeli artist Raffael Lomas has exhibited worldwide. His
on-going Wheel Series explores the underlying iconography
of the wheel and gives him “an opportunity to examine
the relationship between the whole and its parts, between
man and his self, the other. Seeing the wheel not only as
a functional object but also as a symbol allows me to examine
the transition from one symbol (the wheel) to another (the
eye) directly.”--Artist Statement. Rafael currently
