Florida artist Robert Coon has shown extensively throughout
the United States for the past 30 years and his work is
in numerous private collections. He has received numerous
jury prizes and awards for his outdoor sculpture. Robert
Coon finds it ironic that he must use words to tell the
viewer that his work is not, nor was it ever intended to
be, a verbal experience. He believes that we are essentially
visual creatures in the way we approach the world.
